Feeding the People {a large family’s 2 week menu with links}

This menu was thrown together somewhat willy nilly in the midst of a sick baby’s recovery and a family schedule that felt well, unscheduled. There weren’t that many events to plan around, but having just come off of a solid week spent on the couch nursing a sick toddler, I decided that the last thing I wanted ahead of me was any meal that would cause me to feel rushed. So I selected my go-tos– the ones that make everyone happy and can be thrown together with my eyes closed. The result is two weeks’ worth of meals that lean heavily on pastas, but will fill the bellies quite nicely.

Saturday 8th
Breakfast: apple heart pizzas
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: chicken and dumplings & cornbread

Sunday 9th
Breakfast: yogurt, fruit, and granola
Lunch: sloppy joes
Dinner: Salisbury steaks**, mashed potatoes, salad
Dessert: Christopher’s Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

Monday 10th
Breakfast: breakfast banana split**
Lunch: taco salad
Dinner: Tuscan Garlic Chicken** & fettucine

Tuesday 11th
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: sandwiches
Dinner: Honey Ginger Chicken, brown rice, lima beans

Wednesday 12th
Breakfast: Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins (make ahead)
Lunch: couscous and peas
Dinner: bean medley chili (crock pot)

Thursday 13th
Breakfast: grits
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: black bean chicken packets, white rice

Friday 14th
Breakfast: Farmer’s Country Breakfast
Lunch: crockpot spaghetti
Dinner: Roast Turkey breast, mashed potatoes, corn, & broccoli
DESSERT: Apple Pie

Saturday 15th
Breakfast: Hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs
Lunch: seven layer dip
Dinner: homemade pizza

Sunday 16th
Breakfast: yogurt, fruit & granola
Lunch: grilled cheese
Dinner: Hungarian Beef Ghoulash

Monday 17th
Breakfast: Mamaw’s egg casserole
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: corned beef, potatoes, and cabbage

Tuesday 18th
Breakfast: omlettes
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: Herb and Wine Chicken, jasmine rice, peas
Dessert: Lemon bars

Wednesday 19th
Breakfast: Sausage muffins
Lunch: southwest chicken wraps
Dinner: Pot roast, potatoes, and carrots

Thursday 20th
Breakfast: peaches and oatmeal
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: Pasta Primavera
Dessert: Poundcake & strawberries

Friday 21st
Breakfast: biscuits and jam
Lunch: Letter Soup
Dinner: Skinny Chicken Alfredo, salad

Saturday 22nd
Breakfast: scones and devonshire cream
Lunch: black bean burritos
Dinner: Better Than Takeout Fried Rice
