“How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?”
–Dr. Seuss

(Work in progress: finally adding those hard-earned patches to two little Cubbie’s vests in advance of tonight’s awards ceremony. Yes, I am now that mom.)

We’d love to see your works in progress. Something that makes you feel simple, full, or creative. Something you’re making. Something you’re doing (folding a pile of laundry–again?). Something you’re planning. Share in the comments!

  1. Last night I cast on a baby blanket for my cousin and his wife. I love the yarn (cascade 128 super wash wool) but I am not sure about the color (Florida State yellow). I really need to sew my oldest’s patches on his new Boy Scout shirt, but he needs to rip them off the old shirt first.

    1. Just love those little blue vests. Love your patient acceptance of those little ones with their idiosyncrasies. Thankful for my little one’s opportunity to soak up your gentle direction. We looked up today and noticed the cup with a cross in it from last week has grass growing all around it! Surprise 🙂 Thank you for blessing us. Jeffrey and Daniel are my work in progress and they have just begun to grow…
