Yes, our daughter is safe.
No, we haven’t been able to hear her voice.
But she’s o.k.– or was, at least, the last time technology cooperated enough to bring us the news we so desperately wanted, needed, to hear.
Seeing the devastation, reading of the loss … it is far too much for the heart to bear. Please: whatever the temptation in the days and the weeks that follow, do not turn away from the images of horror broadcast from Kathmandu. These are people. People who have most likely never met Jesus. Pray for their safety. Pray for their salvation. Pray for this beautiful, broken place now more than ever.
We’re praying here at Sonlight.

Thanks so much, Luke!
So glad to see this report. Still praying for Nepal. ((hugs))
Thank you!
Praying for all of you!
Thank you so much.
I’m so glad to read this update. As soon as I heard about the quake I thought of your sweet girl and have been praying for her. I hope you’ll be able to talk to her soon. Those precious people…
