So, there’s this conference network thing, called Type-A Parent. And if you’re not a blogger, you have no idea what it is. But if you are a blogger, I said, “Type-A Parent” and you nodded. Because … Type-A Parent.
Anyhow, in addition to really cool conferences and networking opportunities and chances to hobnob with people who know how to write a story, Type-A hosts an annual blog awards competition.
I won the Powerful and Inspirational category. And if you’re not a blogger, you just said, “Hey. Cool. Was there a check involved?” And if you are a blogger, you just said, “Coooool!” Because … Type-A Parent.
Which is all to say that this morning, Phineas still asked me if he could have his oatmeal now. With peanut butter. Also, my toilets still needed to be scrubbed. And Jude still spit up all over my shirt three times before lunch. Thankyouverymuch.
