Unbelievably, at the end of this menu cycle, we will be headed on our east coast farewell tour. That fact alone would make these two weeks center on “eat the pantry,” but adding to that the overwhelming amount of packing, purging, sorting, and preparing that we need to cover, and the fact that we’ll be seeing 80 degree days for at least a week solid … yeah, it’s crockpot or no-fuss around here for a while.

(And yes, you can feel free to laugh at my note that it will break 80 here. Our cozy little house stays warm in the winter, but doubles as a hotbox in the summer months. An ambient temp of 85 outside can easily translate to 89 inside. Also, thanks to flooding at our temporary home at the end of last year, we currently own just one fan to ease our misery. So yeah … 80 feels potentially rough.)

dinner: sloppy joes, chips

Saturday 12th

Breakfast: peaches and oatmeal

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: Slowcooker chicken gyros w/ tzatziki

Sunday 13th

Breakfast: yogurt, fruit, and granola

Lunch: mini pizzas

Dinner: Black bean tortilla stack ups

Monday 14th

Breakfast: oatmeal

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: beef and broccoli stirfry

Tuesday 15th

Breakfast: yogurt & granola

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: Crockpot ravioli casserole***

Dessert: hummingbird cake***

Wednesday 16th

Breakfast: pancakes

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: Crispy Southwest Chicken Wraps**

Thursday 17th

Breakfast: Mamaw’s egg casserole

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: pasta primavera***

Friday 18th

Breakfast: biscuits and jam

Lunch: tuna salad sandwiches

Dinner: black beans over rice

Saturday 19th

Breakfast: bacon, toast, and eggs

Lunch: cheese quesadillas

Dinner: bring home pizza

Sunday 20th

Breakfast: morning glory muffins

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: 12-minute pasta toss**

Dessert: mini fruit tarts

Monday 21st

Breakfast: crescent roll breakfast casserole***

Lunch: chili dogs

Dinner: Spaghetti

Tuesday 22nd

Breakfast: peaches and oatmeal

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: Santa Fe Chicken tacos***
