“Is he a good baby?”

“I think so.”

“Does he sleep through the night?”

“Ummmm, no.”

“At his size? Really? You know, once they are like ten pounds, they should be able to go all night without nursing.”

“He doesn’t.”

“Have you tried letting him cry it out? Sometimes they just need sleep training.”

“We’re not comfortable with that.”

“Have you looked into it, though? Because he’s four months now. He needs to start being independent.”

“We’re o.k. Really. Thanks.”

“I’m really sorry he’s so high maintenance.”

“He’s not. He’s just a four month old baby. He’s super happy. Loves to play. Loves watching his siblings. He just needs his Momma, and you know, I kind of enjoy the closeness. It goes so fast.”

“Well, maybe your next one will be a good baby.”

“Oh, I’m sure he will be.”

  1. Wow.
    Just wow.
People have to give their opinions about everything now a days, don’t they?

At four months old they certainly don’t need to be learning independence, they need to know you are there. (And, here I am giving my opinion, LOL.)
